Have you gotten them threaded before? I highly recommend it over waxing.

My friend gets them threaded and I was interested in that - Im just afraid they will make them too thin.

Why? I know what threading is, but I don't know much about it.

I've had mixed experiences with them. It really depends on the individual that you get to help you. See if you can find any Yelp reviews or anything that talks about the location (and even technician) that you would be seeing. At my local BBB, I had one girl who was exceptional that I went to for a few years, but she got promoted to a higher up job with Benefit, and her replacements weren't great. Never ended up going back to that location after that. I no longer get my brows done, I do them myself, but your experience will likely depend on who does them. You can probably find a better brow person outside of Benefit, try looking at reviews for other salons in your area.

I have! It probably depends on the location but I thought it was okay. They fill in your brows after waxing them. I wasn't a huge fan of the styling (too dramatic) and I did feel a bit pressured to buy the products but the eyebrow wax was fine.

I would check the reviews on yelp if they have them first. I've been to quite a few and the quality vastly depends on location. I drive 45 minutes to get my brows done at my preferred BBB even though there are 3 much closer locations and many salons/threading locations near me.

"schwing!" said my eyeliner

I've gone to the Brow Bar twice and both times I've been very satisfied. My brows are uneven and somewhat patchy and the brow lady shaped them and made them even. Both then filled in my brows. The first time they were too dark and filled in for my preference so I asked her to tone it down; she did with no problems. The second worker had a lighter hand. The people were personable but it overly chatty (sometimes ya just need quiet, dig?). I did not feel pressured to purchase any benefit products after the waxing, I said I had products that I liked using already and wasn't ready to purchase new. Both ladies respected that and didn't mention buying benefit stuff again. I don't go as often as they recommend, because I really need the waxing just to get a clean and defined shape; I can tweeze myself to clean up in the interim.

I am addicted to the Benefit Brow Bars. Mine is in a Macy's, but same stuff. The girls are nice and really listen to what you want

I LOVE benefit brown bar at Ulta. I've lived in 3 different states and refuse to go anywhere else for my brows.. I'm surprised to see other redditors say it's not consistent because I feel the opposite. If you're nervous, they have a policy to map your brows before actually waxing so you can agree to the shape before any extreme action is taken!
